Teacher Aide Position

The Role:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher Aides to join our team. These roles are integral to supporting our teachers in delivering effective and engaging learning experiences for students across various subjects and year levels.
As a Teacher Aide, you will work under the direction of classroom teachers to:
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with diverse learning needs, including those with special educational requirements.
Assist in the preparation and organisation of learning materials and classroom resources.
Support students with their academic tasks, understanding instructions, and completing assignments.
Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
Supervise students during breaks, excursions, and other school activities as required.
Assist with administrative tasks related to student support and classroom management.
Contribute to the well-being and pastoral care of students.
We are looking for individuals who possess:
A genuine passion for working with young people and supporting their learning journey.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
Patience, empathy, and a strong understanding of diverse learning styles and needs.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
A proactive and adaptable approach to challenges.
Previous experience working with adolescents or in an educational setting is highly desirable.

Join Our Team as Groundskeeper/Assistant Caretaker
Are you a friendly, energetic, and self-motivated individual with a passion for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces? St Peter's College in Milson is looking for a dedicated Groundskeeper/Assistant Caretaker to join our team!
In this varied role, you'll play a key part in keeping our school environment looking its best. We're seeking someone who takes pride in their work, has a positive attitude, and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.
We're looking for someone who:
Has experience in gardening and lawn maintenance.
Is physically fit, well-organised, and confident using garden tools and machinery.
Can lend a hand with general repairs, gardening, and spot cleaning.
Possesses strong communication skills and a willingness to show initiative.
Your general duties may include:
Hedge trimming, weeding, planting and general garden upkeep.
Ensuring all outdoor areas are neat, safe, and presentable.
Assisting and providing relief for our caretaker.
Moving equipment and furniture as needed.
Mowing and maintaining our grassed areas.
This is a fixed-term position to support a specific garden project, concluding on December 6th, 2025. You'll work 10 hours per week during school hours, with flexibility regarding specific days which can be discussed. Occasional extra hours may be required.
