What do we do?:

During 2011 we are organising the Senior Charity Evening for the 9th July. This year the charity we have chosen is the Salvation Army Christchurch Earthquake Appeal. Because of the selected charity being about the Christchurch Earthquake, we have invited the Head Boy and Head Girl of Christchurch Cathedral College to come to our Charity Evening. The theme we have chosen is Red and Black, the Christchurch colours. We are hoping that this event goes well and are able to raise lots of money for people effected in the Christchurch Earthquake. At least half of all of the ticket takings are donated to the charity.

 

In the past we have organised:

Ø    School Charity Evening

Ø    Dances in Junior School

  • through oversight of the Social Junior Leadership students

Ø    Organising lunchtime games clubs - particularly in winter

  • a number of game sets are available to use
