School Rules

The school rules are based on the following philosophy:
  •  do your best
  •  be courteous
  •  respect others
  •  respect yourself

Respect for others includes respecting their good name, feelings, way of doing things, property and ambitions.

Respect for yourself includes respecting your dress, conduct, work, the way you accept correction and the way you participate in the life of the school.

Classroom Rules

These rules are established to ensure that the rights of pupils and teachers, to learn and teach, are respected.

Pupils are to:

  1. Bring the required equipment and books (including Link Books) to each class
  2. Be ready to start work at the beginning of each period; be wearing correct uniform and have all of the correct equipment
  3. Follow directions the first time they are given
  4. Raise a hand and wait to be asked before speaking. Only one person speaks at a time during times of instruction and class discussion
  5. Respect other students and their property
  6. Record assignments and homework in Link Books and ensure their Link Books are regularly signed by parents or caregivers and homeroom or form teachers
