Junior Leaders

The Junior Leaders, from Year 10, play a significant role in organising and delivering assemblies for Year 7 - 10 students. The Junior Head Boy and Junior Head Girl, also from Year 10, help to lead this group and assist the Deputy Principal, and other members of staff, in their events in and out of school.

Junior Leaders, from each house, take responsibility for the organisation of games during lunchtime. Year 7 and 8 students participate in the events and, at times, minor house points are on offer for the winning teams.

Committment to the Junior Leader programme is about more than just turning up at events and telling people what to do. Junior Leaders are required to set themselves apart as examples/role models for other students. Behaviour concerns that involve people who serve as Junior Leaders, are taken very seriously and students have, in the past, been removed from the programme due to lack of consolidated effort in their general subjects.
