Extract from the St Peter's College Player Guidelines
1) Registration
All Players must complete and return a Sports Registration Form to be eligible to trial and play for St. Peter’s College.
The Registration Form identifies player name, year level, code and team trialing for, address, phone number, and parental permission for contact details to be given to coaches etc, parent assistance with committees, transport, coaching, managing, and officiating.
In signing the “Conditions of Play Section”
players and parents accept the following conditions:
- Players accept the composition of the team as selected by those in charge.
- Fees will be paid for the appropriate sport by the specified due date, unless alternative arrangements have been made. However, students will be able to play sport for St Peter’s College if there are financial circumstances that prevent payments being made by the due date. This will be considered on a case by case basis. Financial assistance can be applied for through Senior Management. Contact the Sports Department for more information.
- Players wear the correct sports uniform, as specified for each team.
- Players must make every effort to attend all games, practices, and meetings on time.
- Players must avoid, where possible, organising appointments, work, etc, during practice times.
- Players must make every effort to contribute to, and participate in, team fundraising activities.
- Players must communicate with the coach if they are unable to attend games and/or practices. If there are not enough players for a game to take place, games may be defaulted.
- Players must show respect at all times to coaches, officials and other players on and off the field/court.
All school rules must be accepted and adhered to when players represent the school.
Satisfactory behaviour and progress at school is a condition for students representing St Peter's College in sport. This includes the following conditions: Students with more than 1 detention outstanding will not be allowed to play for the school until this is completed. If detention clashes with sports practice, they are to inform the coach of their whereabouts and the coach may then decide if this will impact on game time in the following game. Dean’s will inform the TIC who will inform coaches of outstanding detentions (with a time allowance of one week) to complete the detention. On-going discussion may be required with the student concerned if this impacts on their commitment to their team. Stand down and suspensions will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
Each code may also enforce other criteria for representing St Peter’s College in that code/team (i.e. specific fitness levels, fund-raising, club involvement etc). The TIC of each code will ensure this is clear to all players when they trial.
Coaches required...
We are on the lookout for parents, friends, former students and other interested people who are able to coach sports teams, particularly winter sports as they're coming soon - Netball, Rugby, Hockey, Football and Basketball.
More information is available from the Sports Office on 06 3544198 (ask for the Sports Office). You can download the coach application form below.

Netball courts (under floodlights) are available for hire in the evenings (from 5pm-9:30pm) for the netball season at $140 per court, per team for one hour.
For example: One team uses one court for 2 hours for every week of the season; it would cost $280 for the season.
One off bookings will be charged differently.
